Based in Ottawa, Joan has developed his professional career in Mont-Tremblant, where he has built deep expertise in the local real estate and short-term rental market. Originally from Spain, he moved to Canada in 2008 for what was meant to be a one-year adventure—but quickly fell in love with the country and decided to make it home. Joan began his career at Nestlé before founding and managing a successful building restoration company in Barcelona, specializing in heritage conservation. He later led a real estate development project in the city, delivering strong returns for investors. In 2012, he acquired Tremblant Living, a small vacation rental business in Mont-Tremblant, which he expanded into the region’s leader in luxury vacation rentals. While no longer involved in daily operations, he remains the owner and strategic advisor. Today, he focuses on helping clients identify investment opportunities through his role as a real estate broker with Engel & Völkers Tremblant. Joan is passionate about the outdoors—he’s an experienced mountaineer, cyclist, and cross- country skier—and is actively involved in the community as a youth cross country ski coach. His combined local insight, entrepreneurial experience, and investment expertise make him a trusted partner for clients looking to invest in Mont-Tremblant.
